Accessibility

We want Writeoff to be usable by everyone who runs a business, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control.
Our standard
We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means semantic HTML, visible focus indicators, keyboard access to every interactive control, text alternatives for meaningful images, form labels tied to their inputs, and color contrast that meets the AA threshold.
Where we are
Writeoff is in beta and we are candid about the fact that conformance is a work in progress. We test with keyboard navigation and screen readers as part of development, and we treat an accessibility bug as a bug, not a feature request. We have not yet completed a formal third-party audit.
Report a barrier
If any part of Writeoff is hard or impossible to use, tell us and we will fix it. Email support@writeoff.tax with the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days.
If you need information from this site in an alternative format, ask and we will provide it.
